Dr. Mikhail is a well-learned person. The oncologist is a graduate of First Pavlov State Medical University, St. Petersburg. It is while in the institution that Dr. Mikhail established his career foundation by studying an M.D. in Internal Medicine and later enrolled for a Ph.D. in Cardiology and Experimental Medicine. After graduation, Mikhail started his career at the New York Medical College, Valhalla where he was employed as an associate professor in 2002. Later he advanced his career by joining the Ordway Research Institute in New York as a senior scientist. His career-changing opportunity was in 2009 when he joined the Roswell Park Cancer Institute as a full Professor of Oncology, a position he holds to date.
